Baby Shower

It is so great to have such wonderful friends that also happen to be so talented. My fun friends threw me a baby shower in Utah last weekend and I was in heaven. I loved everything about it and I just felt like the luckiest girl in the world that day. I didn't get pictures of everyone who was there but I'll get those soon. I did get some pictures of this other stuff though...

These were the great invitations done by Alison Faulkner Robertson. The girls then ran with the pea in the pod theme for the rest of the shower.

These were the games we played. Once again, it's so nice to have these talented friends. Tara made the game on the left and destroyed everyone with her absurd knowledge of pop culture-it was a celeb baby names game. Alison obviously opted for making a game from the The Price Is Right, guessing prices of baby items. Everyone was just a few dollars off the right price, I however, was $75 off.

These were little cake-pops that were dressed as peas in a pod! How do people come up with this stuff!

These lovely ladies cooked up a scrumptious spread of tortilla soup and black bean salad, among other things, and then decorated the cutest little environment for such a fun daytime party.(see poofy paper balls in background.) There was so much yummy stuff and I'm so bummed I didn't get a good picture of the food spread when it came out.

In addition to this great party that was thrown for me, I got some really wonderful gifts I'm so excited about. It was so nice to spend time with friends and to get to see my loved ones in Utah that I never get to see. I couldn't be happier after a great little weekend with everyone.

Look at me!

I am the Sprouts employee of the month. NBD. This is the bulletin board that hangs next to the public restrooms:) Sorry the picture is cut off, I had to cut out Rene the 55 yr old bakery manager from the picture because she was the "Safety Employee of the Month," and I didn't want you getting distracted thinking there were two general/overall employees of the month. There's only one, and it's me:)
