Baby Shower

It is so great to have such wonderful friends that also happen to be so talented. My fun friends threw me a baby shower in Utah last weekend and I was in heaven. I loved everything about it and I just felt like the luckiest girl in the world that day. I didn't get pictures of everyone who was there but I'll get those soon. I did get some pictures of this other stuff though...

These were the great invitations done by Alison Faulkner Robertson. The girls then ran with the pea in the pod theme for the rest of the shower.

These were the games we played. Once again, it's so nice to have these talented friends. Tara made the game on the left and destroyed everyone with her absurd knowledge of pop culture-it was a celeb baby names game. Alison obviously opted for making a game from the The Price Is Right, guessing prices of baby items. Everyone was just a few dollars off the right price, I however, was $75 off.

These were little cake-pops that were dressed as peas in a pod! How do people come up with this stuff!

These lovely ladies cooked up a scrumptious spread of tortilla soup and black bean salad, among other things, and then decorated the cutest little environment for such a fun daytime party.(see poofy paper balls in background.) There was so much yummy stuff and I'm so bummed I didn't get a good picture of the food spread when it came out.

In addition to this great party that was thrown for me, I got some really wonderful gifts I'm so excited about. It was so nice to spend time with friends and to get to see my loved ones in Utah that I never get to see. I couldn't be happier after a great little weekend with everyone.

Can I have a baby shower? Maybe you could just send me one of those cake pop things.

Nichelle! You look seriously, ADORABLE! I can't wait to buy the little man something.. It will give me an excuse to actually shop in the baby section when Ryan yells at me if I even step foot in it. hahaha

We miss you all the time and can't wait to see you again.

Much love!

That was one of the cutest baby showers I have ever been to in my life. I still can't get over it. I also can't get over Allison's house. I'm very envious. I want it and all the cute things she has in it too.

It was so good seeing you and all the other girls. I'm really glad I went! It had been way too long.

You need to stop being so pretty. You are absolutely gorgeous and you were just glowing at your shower. You really looked darling. I want your clothes and next time I'm pregnant can I please look like you and not a whale? :)

One more thing to be jealous about- that baby bag that Kayleen and Kristy got you. Do you think if I invited them to my next baby shower they'd get me the same one? :) Oh and the baby Jazz jersey was to die for and so thoughtful.
